About
Built through years of racing at the highest level.
Cycling was my profession for more than a decade.
I raced internationally on both the road and track, represented Ireland at major championships and competed at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
Along the way, I worked with some of the best coaches and performance staff in the sport. That gave me years of first-hand experience of structured training, race preparation, recovery, testing, strength work and the day-to-day decisions that go into performing consistently.
That experience now forms the foundation of how I coach.
Simple principles. Applied properly.
I don’t believe good coaching needs to be overcomplicated.
The fundamentals are simple: understand the athlete, define the goal, apply the right training stimulus, recover properly and adjust based on how the rider responds.
My role is to bring structure and judgement to that process - using the experience I gained from years of racing and working within high-performance environments.
