Hi, I’m Felix.
I spent more than a decade racing internationally, from professional road racing and criteriums to competing on the track, where I achieved a world number one ranking before becoming an Olympian at the Tokyo 2020 Games.
Since 2017, I’ve also helped cyclists work towards their own goals - from finding consistency around a busy week to moving up a racing category or preparing for a major event.
I bring that experience to your training, with a practical approach built around your goals, your available time and what you enjoy about riding.

FROM STARTING OUT TO THE GRAN FONDO WORLDS.
NEW TO STRUCTURED TRAINING. A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS START LINE. UNDER 10 MONTHS.
I first spoke with Nathan in November 2025. He was new to structured training, with a straightforward goal: to get better.
We gradually introduced more specific sessions, built consistency and worked on becoming a stronger, more rounded rider.
Together, we mapped out his season around a target Gran Fondo, with an outside chance of qualifying for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships.
We practised fuelling, refined his pacing and put together a race plan that Nathan executed brilliantly on the day.
In a little under seven months, he’d earned his World Championships qualification.
Frequently asked questions.
Quick answers to the most common questions about my training plans and coaching.
What’s the difference between a training plan and 1-to-1 coaching?
The 6-week training plans are pre-built and self-guided. You choose the plan that best matches your goal and the number of days you can train, then follow the programme through TrainingPeaks.
1-to-1 coaching is completely personalised. Your training is built around your fitness, schedule, goals and racing, with ongoing adjustments, feedback, communication and individual support throughout.
Which training plan should I choose?
Use the Find Your Training Plan questionnaire and I’ll recommend the best option based on your goal, experience and how many days per week you can realistically train.
The aim is to match you with the plan you’re most likely to complete consistently, rather than simply giving you the highest-volume option.
Do I need a power meter?
No. A power meter is useful, but it isn’t essential.
Where appropriate, sessions can also be completed using heart rate and perceived effort, so you can still follow the structure of the plan without training with power.
Do I need to pay for TrainingPeaks as well?
No. A free TrainingPeaks athlete account is all you need to receive and follow your training plan.
There are no additional TrainingPeaks costs required to use the programme. You can upgrade to TrainingPeaks Premium separately if you want its additional features, but it isn’t necessary to complete the plan.
How are the training plans delivered?
Your training plan is delivered through TrainingPeaks.
Once your free TrainingPeaks athlete account is connected, your 6-week programme is added to your calendar. Structured workouts can then sync with compatible devices and training platforms, making the sessions easy to follow indoors or outside.
What happens if I miss a workout or need to move sessions around?
That’s completely normal.
Each plan is designed to give you structure without making training unnecessarily rigid. Sessions can be moved around when needed, and the plan will include guidance on which workouts should be prioritised if your available training time changes during the week.
The key is consistency across the full 6-week block, not completing every session perfectly.
Can I move from a training plan into 1-to-1 coaching?
Absolutely.
The training plans are designed for riders who want structure without ongoing personal coaching. If you reach a point where you want training built completely around you, more detailed feedback, race preparation or ongoing adjustments, you can move into 1-to-1 coaching at any time.
